For more than 70 years, the Beaver Valley Yacht Club (B.V.Y.C.) has been synonymous with hospitality to the boaters who visit the Beaver River in New Brighton. We strive to provide educational opportunities, reasonably priced dockage, and a warm welcome to boaters from the Tri-State area. We are a pet friendly club (dogs must be on leash when off boat).
As a not-for-profit organization, we hold three large events each year: Summer Lobster Dinner/Dance in June, Regatta in August, and Fall Lobster Dinner/Dance in September. During these events alone, we have had over 900 boaters from Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania travel to the Beaver River for fellowship, games, good food, and fun. Additionally, throughout the late fall/early winter months, many people from the local region visit B.V.Y.C. for our famous Fish Fry held almost every Friday. We are a private club that is open to the public for some events/parties.
